Production Diary
October 2009 saw the "Brendan Bracken" crew increase to 18 strong, as we filmed in a country house in Northamptonshire in England. The cast of 10 actors recreated various scenes in Bracken’s life, from the first meeting with Churchill in 1923, to the “Great silence that saved England" in 1940. Chris Sheridan was “Brendan Bracken” Lorna Bumford played Brendan Bracken’s love interest "Penelope Dudley Ward" and Rob Trutt played "Winston Churchill". A superb 1938 Phantom III Rolls-Royce featured, as did horses, gardens the drive and every room in the house representing various other locations mentioned in the story.
